This 30-minute documentary sheds light on the education systems of Cairo and Berlin. Produced as part of the Spring Lessons program and its Demystifying Prejudice initiative, the film follows Rebecca Korang and Azza Guerges as they travel between the two cities in a cultural exchange.

By accompanying two schoolgirls in their everyday lives – one in Cairo and one in Berlin – No School for Children offers a glimpse into the educational worlds they inhabit. Through their experiences, it reveals how schools are shaped by broader social, cultural, and political structures, including colonial legacies, inherited curricula, and institutional racism, and how these forces influence children's lives both inside and beyond the classroom.
